Basic Information

 

Circede clásicos y modernos is a scientific journal that publishes original and unpublished articles linked to studies in classical languages, especially Greek and Latin, although it also accepts works on texts whose original language is Arabic, classical Armenian, Coptic, etc. Normally, the partial and final results of research framed within the university academic system are published, without forgetting that Circe aims to be a receptive body for innovative ideas and works in the field of classical studies. Founded in 1996, it has been published exclusively electronically since 2018 on a semiannual basis. Circe, of classics and moderns,publishes online issues semiannually: January-June and July-December.

Number 10 is biannual (2005-2006).

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research contributes to greater global exchange of knowledge.

Circede clásicos y modernos provides free access to its content under the principle that the continuous circulation of research results on the Internet promotes the better circulation of scientific literature. The dissemination can be carried out through various devices, from a computer to a mobile phone and its contents can be shared through social networks or email.

1.
