The Journal of Science and Technology started in 1998 as the area of scientific publication of the School of Exact, Chemical and Natural Sciences of the National University of Misiones. At present, it constitutes the menas of spreading reseach works of important Institutions of the region and other Latinamerican countries. Its basic objective is the publication of original pieces of research corresponding to the following thematic areas: Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Scientific and Technological Education.

 Publication Frequency: one each semester (two issues/year).

The title is abbreviated as Rev. cienc. tecnol.( En línea) , and this should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, legends and bibliographical references.
