We report seven new localities for the Sacha Guinea Pig Cavia patzelti, based on specimens collected, observed and photographed in the eastern Andes of the provinces of Morona Santiago, Azuay and Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador. The specimen from Zamora Chinchipe represents the southernmost record, expanding its distribution 290 km to the southeast.
