The redistribution of income, "social justice, economic independence and political sovereignty" are the political-doctrinary foundations of Peronism. Based on these arguments, the Peronist government of 1973-76 articulated a pragmatic agreement proposal aimed at overcoming the confrontation of its origins. Regional economies such as those of the North forest are of interest to the National State. Legislative projects and public policies in defense of forests (since Law 13.273/1948), workers and forest entrepreneurs show this concern. The political objectives of the third Peronism privileged intersectoral agreements. They sought consensus. They imposed subsidies and credits, the creation of institutes and experimental stations, in a context that proposed the alliance between the public and the private, to reconstitute the depredated Argentine forest wealth. This historical research analyzes the legislative action (General Archive of the Nation Argentina) as one of the specific instruments of the concertation, to interpret characteristics, continuities and changes in agro-forestry policy in times of a divided Peronism, and that was confronted, in the middle of the death of its leader and the national and international crises of 1970s. The final purpose goes beyond the legislation enacted on those economic activities. It inquires into the projects and debates that take place regarding the topic addresses here. The concerted policy is applied to the analysis and interpretation of two case studies: the Act of Agreement of the National State and the producers to implement a concerted policy of agroforestry expansion formulated in 1973 and the project for the creation of the Puerto Península Forest Company in Misiones for the planning and conservation of forest resources of 1974.
