Abstract

CARENA, Lucas. Cavilaciones en torno a la negatividad de la noción de diferencia. Trama comun. [online]. 2013, vol.17, n.2, pp.197-214. ISSN 1668-5628.

This article aims to outline a series of theoretical digressions and reflections in order to expand the look on the causes that make structuralism a founding speech and the reason why his positivist intellectual detachment from the context which undoubtedly emerge. With particular emphasis on the notions of difference and interdependence of the elements that compose the structure, we will try to show to what extent this concept is still -in a sense- under a cloud of mystery. Many of the posterior approaches to the contributions of Saussure on the structural approach to linguistics have accurately illuminated the reasons why the Course in General Linguistics is unquestionably a milestone in science and the causes of his research are not only far from becoming outdated, but also far from being reinterpreted from other perspectives: deconstructive glances that claimed the literature, the figurative use of language and narrative to science itself. However, the notion of difference has not been addressed in the same way over time .The existence of a negative philosophy behind the idea of difference, will be the Gordian knot we will try to untie in this text, making a tour through different considerations that have revolved around the difference as such, but not necessarily to explore their negativity.

Keywords : Language; Structure; Difference; Negativism; Interdependence.
