This article argues on the productivity of widening the study of the mediatization of politics to include everyday interactions of groups which are involved in the production and reproduction of values, consensus and groups, even outside or in the margins of the political field. The approach is not that of an Audience Ethnography, but that of a Communicational Ethnography of these groups' organizational practices, attentive to the ways in which diverse, complex communication devices are key elements for the construction of everyday world. The empiric data is a set of observations and interviews with neighbors associations members gathered over security issues and crime prevention in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.
