In this paper we analize the industrial promotion policies implemented by the provincial governments in Santa Fe, as well as the stances and attitudes asumed by the main industrial employers' organization of the province's south area, the Federación Gremial del Comercio y la Industria de Rosario, between 1942 and 1955. In order to comprehend the main features of the relations weaved between the provincial state and the entrepreneurs during peronism, the analysis is broadened towards the national businessmen organization process  and their relations with the national government.
