Abstract

BAUDINO, Nicolás; VELASCO, Juan; COLEONI, Enrique  and  BUTELER, Laura. La interacción mediante el habla: Una revisión del discurso en las aulas de ciencias. Rev. electrón. investig. educ. cienc. [online]. 2019, vol.14, n.2, pp.29-44. ISSN 1850-6666.

The present work is a revision of work carried out on discourse analysis in the period 2011-2017, and published in 12 journals of Science Education very frequently accessed by researchers of our community. The study of discourse within Science Education has been growing consistently for over 40 years. The main interest in these studies lies in the potential they offer to describe the actual interaction dynamics in Science classrooms. This opens interesting perspectives to understand how participation structures and traits of the content to be learned are combined. Our goal was to describe the present state-of-the-art and the emergent lines of research thereof. A total of 81 papers were analysed, which were selected from an initial set of 140. These papers were classified in categories established through an iterative analysis process. In the results section, the main consensus and controversies are discussed, as well as areas requiring further research.

Keywords : Review; Discourse analysis; Interaction; Sociocultural perspective.
