Abstract
CRUZ TARRILLO, Jose Joel; PINEDO ZUMAETA, Gessica Mabel and LESCANO CHAVES, Yober. Attitude towards research: An affective, cognitive and behavioral analysis in university students. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2021, n.29, pp.20-26. ISSN 1851-0086.
The purpose of this research was to measure the attitude towards research of university students. The methodology of this study is under the quantitative approach, with a non-experimental research design, of a basic type of descriptive scope. A non-probabilistic sample by conviction of 262 students was taken into account, applying the Scale of Attitudes towards Research (EACIN) which is composed of 34 items and grouped in three dimensions, affective, cognitive and behavioral. The results obtained determined that the attitude towards research of university students is neutral in both women and men, which could mean that students are not taking the appropriate importance. Likewise, this suggests that the university must improve and motivate students more, creating new strategies, to generate in students a good attitude towards research.
