Abstract

LEIBOVICH DE FIGUEROA, Nora et al. The theatrical representation: The development of a dispositive of assessment in sociocultural contexts with psychosocial precarious conditions. Anu. investig. [online]. 2006, vol.13, pp.267-272. ISSN 1851-1686.

Social exclusion and violence not only affect the adults' behavior but also involve the children who show a great sensitiveness towards their family, parents and relatives' psychosocial problems. Which is the effective assessment technique that allows us to know the perception of social reality in these children? This article's objective is to present a technique that consists of a theatrical representation as a tool of assessment. In an open theatrical play, the children also have the chance to be directors who guide the actors and actresses through their participation and suggestions. Using this technique and a qualitative methodology, we will produce in future works, categories about the concepts of family, work and food, that will allow us to have ecologically valid knowledge and design future interventions.

Keywords : Children; Poverty; Theatrical representantion; Family; Work; Food.
