Abstract

FRANCO, Jorge. Process of change: Obstacles and alternatives. Mental microprocess in pregnancy adolescents in risk. Anu. investig. [online]. 2006, vol.13, pp.209-215. ISSN 1851-1686.

The methodology before-after treatment that would be applied links qualitative and quantitative methods. Actual hypothesis supports that social self-concept improves meaningly after the change process. Selfesteem will be measured before and after to verify differences. Basis consists on cognitive recategorization, systematic attention and a trained participant observer who attends change process. The aim of this research is to describe - to construct - to install "the observer" who produces change in a controlled and intentional way. Change perception turns out to be a construction composed by observational and self-observational data as problems. Hypothesis about new actions and heir subjective experience should still be analize. The creative stability - to resist pressures- is necessary to install a change: disorder, chaos are obstacles. Recategorizing, insight, metacognition, distance, are events for a change.

Keywords : Psychic change; Systemic vulnerability; Risk groups; Self-concepts; Recategorizing.
