Abstract

This paper analyzes the life stories of clinical cal records involved in the Hospicio de Mercedes. So, this paper is focused on selected and limited number of protocols. The methodologies are related to the study of life stories that capture biographical experience, in determinated time and space, allow to locate the place which has been occupied by the institutions in a subjectively layer and reflect the institutional history itself. These clinical record are archived when the patient is discharged and are keept at the institution. Someone is responsible for the diagnosis and indications. This exchange is rigorously documented, allow seeing the place that the institution assigned to the subject, expectations, roles, reasons for admission , discharge conditions , treatments, also includes the testimony of the subject allowing portray and inventory practices.
