Abstract

GALATI, Elvio. Filosofía de la génesis de la interdisciplinariedad en su relación con la transdisciplinariedad. Cienc. docencia tecnol. [online]. 2023, n.68, pp.1-1. ISSN 1851-1716.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.33255/3468/1502.

The paper analyzes the etymological perspective of interdisciplinarity, comparing it with the characteristics of disciplinarity, and the emergence of science along with the capitalist system. A comparison is made between interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity. The philosophical context of interdisciplinarity and its relationship with the emergence of the questioning of medical knowledge posed by Bioethics and the ethics of scientific research are described. The historical context is developed, showing the origin of universals, of interdisciplinarity. Examples related to art, agriculture, mental health, and law are introduced, using the complex thought of Edgar Morin as a baseline and a theoretical framework for the paper. The methodology is purely philosophical and resorts to the history of science. It ends with a prospective, where the field of interdisciplinarity is materially broadened and it is temporarily considered, together with transdisciplinarity, as moments.

Keywords : interdiscipline; epistemology; history of science; transdisciplinarity; bioethics.
