Theteaching of natural sciences in secondaryschools in rural contextsisaddressed, exploringhow23 teachers link theirteachingproposals of natural scienceswiththeimmediate/non-immediatecontext of a rural school. Documentspresentedbytheteachers are analyzed, of which more thanhalf link theirproposalswiththecontext, and therestpresentdifficultiesor do not do so directly. Itisconcludedthatthereis a need to continuewiththistype of study in order to know and evaluatethecapacity of teachers to selectthecontents of natural sciences in thecontexts of rural schools.
