Abstract

PELIER, Danubis Luis et al. Calibration of tri furrows infiltration models in sugarcane cultivation in Ciego de Ávila province, Cuba. Rev. cienc. tecnol. [online]. 2018, n.30, pp.1-12. ISSN 1851-7587.

A research has been carried out in a lot planted with sugar cane, variety C-120 on the farm Albio Hernández which belongs to the Sugar Company Primero de Enero in the province Ciego de Ávila, with the aim of calibrating three infiltration models in the furrow irrigation with pipes of multiple floodgates. The obtained results indicate that the proposed models are reliable for the simulation of the parameters of the advance functions, recession and infiltration in a range of flows between 2,24 and 2,87 L s1. The estimated values of the infiltration accumulated by means of the models of Kostiakov, Philips and Kostiakov-Lewis were very similar.
