Abstract

NIERI, Erick Martins et al. Conditions affecting the vigor of urban trees: a study review. Rev. cienc. tecnol. [online]. 2018, n.30, pp.1-10. ISSN 1851-7587.

The article seeks to contribute to the theoretical and conceptual debate related to the conditions that interfere in the nutritional vigor of urban trees through revisions and propositions to improve the sanity of the individuáis present in the afforestation. To do so, we carried out the bibliographical survey through research in newspapers located in the Isi Web of Knowledge, Scopus, Portal of Periodicals of Capes and Google Scholar databases, in addition to books. The results obtained on the effect of pavements of urban trees, the conditions of the urban soils and the vigor of the urban trees; demónstrate the reality of the tree planting. The inadequate management carried out on them provides hostile conditions to the development and longevity of the trees. In conclusión, the nutritional vigor of the specimens is related to permeable áreas and densities lower than 1.3 g cm3, however, associations with institutions and the government bodies are necessary for the creation of public policies in order to help the development of projects and benefits.

Keywords : Type of soil; urban soil; urban forestry.
