This writing will address two particular cases of men’s fashion on the red carpet circuit of the most important festivals and awards in the northern hemisphere.

These two particular case studies are those of Timotheé Chalamet and Harry Styles, who were called by the specialized press: “The future of men’s fashion”, for establishing new standards in men’s suits and positioning the avant-garde of the next trends.

But if we pay special attention to these particular presentations, we find that these aesthetic manifestations are not new, but are reversions of other models of masculinity of the past.
