Abstract

One of the facts that marked the intellectual world of the ´60 was the dialogue between marxism and catholicism. Not only for the theoretical implications in both streams, but also for the results brought by that rapprochement in that decade and the following. Based on sources analysis, this work tries to contribute to the subject with the thought of Héctor P. Agosti (1911 - 1984), intellectual from the Communist Party of Argentina, who actively took part in that debate focusing on the agreements and divergences between socialist humanism and christian humanism.
