Abstract

BENHADJOUDJA, Leïla  and  MILOT, Micheline. Gender and secularism: a poscolonial perspective. Soc. relig. [online]. 2014, vol.24, n.42, pp.144-159. ISSN 1853-7081.

This article combines a poscolonial feminist perspective to an analysis of secularization, departing from Quebec's particular context. If gender has the potential to reflect the dominant understanding of secularization, critical poscolonial feminist thought invites us to rethink and renew forms of secularization through an intersectional perspective
