Abstract

WYCZYKIER, Gabriela. Disputes over development: narratives and positions of entrepreneurs of Argentina Industrial Union in the political situation of 2008. Temas debates (En línea) [online]. 2015, n.30, pp.109-134. ISSN 1853-984X.

This article discusses some dimensions related to development issues has been redefined in Argentina in the last ten years. In particular we distinguish the positions and narratives adopted by sections of the bourgeoisie represented at Union Industrial Argentina (UIA), considering fertility containing think the relationship between accumulation model, perspectives and development processes, national-popular political matrix in the current millennium. In this framework not only have revitalized and energized union sectors and work together but have been incorporated into the government's discursive interpellation business actors. The positioning and rhetoric favored from UIA are studied from two specific political situations, strong relationships with each other: the crisis and conflict between the rural and the national government in 2008, the international crisis that hit Argentina in the same year. Both situations allow us to illustrate the way in which this grouping invoked and composed of government productivist vision of development, was positioned to the state actor and its bourgeois intra regarding key issues forwarded to issues related to the theme of development.
