Abstract

TOMAS, Claudio Luis. The Socio-Environmental Dimension of the Territories from Latin American Geo-Cultures and Critique Geography. Temas debates (En línea) [online]. 2022, n.44, pp.161-173. ISSN 1853-984X.

The work we carry out has as purpose to make a reflection articulating some concepts and authors that, from Latin American geo-cultures and critique geography, can contribute to the enriched and complex understanding of socio-environmental conflicts; as well when problematizing we orient ourselves to contrast conceptions from situated thinking and apply them to their analysis, including assumptions, values and practices that, from the development of industrial agriculture they were generating more unresolved concerns than assertive definitions.

Keywords : socio-environmental conflicts; industrial agriculture; Latin American geo-cultures; critique geography; situated thinking.
