Abstract

VILAMAJO, Alicia; BOSCHETTI, Silvina; GIAMPAOLI, Georgina  and  BOZZI, Candela. Contributions to Recovering the History of the Feminist Perspective in the Social Work Education at Rosario’s National University: A Perspective from Teaching Experience. Temas debates (En línea) [online]. 2023, n.45, suppl.1, pp.205-210. ISSN 1853-984X.

In this paper we intend to recover and reflect on the valuable contributions that gender studies, feminists and queer theory have added to social inequalities’s analysis and problematization. We are referring to a production process of critical knowledge that temporarily exceeds 40 years of democracy and spatially exceeds our university. However, we will think from a local perspective about the ways in which this knowledge contributes to the democratization of scientific productions and goes beyond the limits of the academy. We will do it from Social Work, recovering its heuristic value for democratic construction and from the experience of teaching the subject Gender and Social Work.

Keywords : gender, feminist and transfeminist studies; democracy; formation in Social Work.
