Abstract

This article is derived from an investigation where the processes of subjectivation of young students who attend a club school in the city of Córdoba were analysed, with a focus on the oriented cycle in Physical Education and on the uses and appropriations of sports in that context. The objective of this article is to historically contextualize the process of setting up schools in clubs within the framework of a process of fragmentation and educational diversification, trying to characterize the pedagogical project of the school where the research was carried out. In methodological terms, a socio-anthropological approach was used, for which ethnographic tools were used such as: semi-structured interviews, field observations, analysis of educational regulations, among others. The conclusions reached have to do with the fact that the schools in the clubs make a differential use of sport with respect to state institutions with a Physical Education orientation, building pedagogical projects with a sports orientation based on: the social legitimacy that these practices have currently, the opportunity to present a distinctive educational offer within a framework of educational fragmentation and diversification, and the values ​​that this practice provides to students.
