Abstract

RIVA, Sabrina. From "Hints of Truth" to "Poetry as a Weapon": On Metapoetic Discourse in MiguelHerndndez's Poetry. CELEHIS [online]. 2014, n.27, pp.141-156. ISSN 2313-9463.

Our interest will focus in some metatextual practices -introductory texts, a written transcription of a speech exposed in a meeting and critical prose-, leaving aside the "implicit poetics" and the large correspondence between the poet of Orihuela and his family and friends. Through these texts we'll analyze three or more different ways of designing poetry, specially the major, which reveals the symptoms of war and the recurring motif of "poetry as weapon".

Keywords : Miguel Hernández; autopoetic texts; metatextuality.
