Abstract

IGLESIA, Cristina. Fiction in availability: the narrative universe of television series. CELEHIS [online]. 2018, n.36, pp.1-10. ISSN 2313-9463.

The television series constitute a new state of fiction which irruption in the world of audiovisual narrations not only changed people's free time habits, but also the narration style of the television image. This essay aims to study those distinctive features that have transformed the television series into an autonomous cultural product without precedents, and with its own characteristics and values.
