This article analyzes the characteristics of the award process of neighborhood houses inaugurated by the Peronist government in Jujuy. In a time marked by the particular relationship between Peronism and his followers, the distribution of this properties had very distinctive features. Despite the creation of official institutions, many applicants went beyond the requirements and sought to approach the authorities sending letters. The study of the relationship between state and society shows various interesting aspects of the housing policy of the Peronismo in this district of Northwestern Argentina.
