Abstract

 The collection Estudios Alemanes was a complex publishing phenomenon, which began in 1965 and ended in half of 1990. In that period more than 100 volumes were published of the more varied traditions: Marxist, analytical, neo-Aristotelian, neo Kantians, phenomenologists, among others. This paper aims to analyze three aspects: first, briefly it will show the intellectual profile of the directors of the series; second, the material peculiarities of the collection; finally, we will make some comments on the editorial criteria adopted to select the works which were translated.
