This paper analyzes Argentina's participation in peacekeeping missions led by the United Nations after the return of democracy in 1983 up to the present. It proposes to go through the different presidencies and to present how the participation in peace missions has been uninterrupted despite the different internal contexts of the last years. Are peace missions a basic pillar of the Argentine Foreign Policy?
