Abstract
LAZARTE, José E. Granitoides peraluminosos de mina San Antonio (Tungsteno), sierra de Vinquis norte, sierras Pampeanas. Rev. Asoc. Geol. Argent. [online]. 2013, vol.70, n.3, pp.427-435. ISSN 0004-4822.
Granitoid bodies cropping out around Mina San Antonio (W) located on the northern edge of the Vinquis range, Department of Belen, Catamarca, are studied. The granitoids of Piedra Overa Granite, North Vinquis Granite and Mina San Antonio Granite, all of peraluminous composition are characterized. Piedra Overa Granite is a two-micas sienogranite, with high contents of P2O5 and Th and low contents of Sr, HREE and Y. North Vinquis Granite is a biotitic sienogranite, with slightly higher content of Y and low Sr and REE. Mina San Antonio Pluto is a muscovitic sienogranite with high P2O5 content, and slightly high Y and low contents of Ba, Sr and REE. None of the bodies show high values of ore elements. North Vinquis and Mina San Antonio bodies show signs of inbreeding. The apparent granite&'s fertility is exposed only within the parameters of the Eu anomaly and the profile of REE normalized.
