Abstract

SLANIS, Alberto Carlos  and  BULACIO, Eva del V.. Commelina fasciculata subsp. chacoensis (Commelinaceae), a new taxon from Argentina. Darwiniana [online]. 2007, vol.45, n.1, pp.88-91. ISSN 0011-6793.

Commelina fasciculata subsp. chacoensis, from the Tucumán and Salta provinces (Argentina), is described and illustrated. It differs from the type subspecies by its habitat, tuberose roots, and the color of petals, filaments, staminodia and style.
