Abstract

MATARASSO, Horacio F.  and  SERO LOPEZ, Félix Rodrigo. The Chilean Mockingbird (Mimus thenca) in Neuquén Province: a new species for Argentina. Hornero [online]. 2008, vol.23, n.1, pp.41-43. ISSN 0073-3407.

We report the first record of the Chilean Mockingbird (Mimus thenca) for Argentina. The species was observed in Las Ovejas and Andacollo, in the northwestern portion of Neuquén Province. There this bird is fairly common and breeds successfully.
