The Fork-tailed Palm Swift (Tachornis squamata) is a small Neotropical swift that inhabits north and central South America whose presence is closely related to the existence of the Buriti Palm (Mauritiaflexuosa). In this study, we present the first record of this species in Argentina and we discuss its possible origin.
