Abstract

PAUTASSO, Andrés A.. Native threatened and almost-threatened mammals at the collection of the Museo Provincial de Ciencias Naturales "Florentino Ameghino", Santa Fe, Argentina. Mastozool. neotrop. [online]. 2007, vol.14, n.1, pp.85-91. ISSN 0327-9383.

I present data on 86 specimens of 12 threatened species of mammals from Argentina, collected during the last six years and deposited at the collection of the Provincial Museum of Natural Sciences "Florentino Ameghino," Santa Fe, Argentina. I present body measurements for 13 specimens. The mentioned species are: endangered: Myrmecophaga tridactyla, Chrysocyon brachyurus and Lontra longicaudis; vulnerable: Procyon cancrivorus and Ctenomys yolandae; low risk, potentially vulnerable: Cerdocyon thous, Herpailurus yaguaroundi, Oncifelis geoffroyi, Puma concolor, Galictis cuja, Pecari tajacu and Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris.
