Abstract

MIATELLO, Rodolfo  and  COBOS, Víctor. New records for the distribution of the Maned Wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus, mammalia, canidae) in Córdoba and Santiago del Estero provinces, Argentina. Mastozool. neotrop. [online]. 2008, vol.15, n.2, pp.209-213. ISSN 0327-9383.

We confirm the presence of the Maned Wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus) in 13 localities in Córdoba and five in the Province of Santiago del Estero, based in our observations made during the last 20 years and information provided by local dwellers. These records represent the most southern and occidental localities known for the species.
