Abstract

PAVE, Romina  and  GIRAUDO, Alejandro R. New records of chiropterans for the province of Corrientes, Argentina. Mastozool. neotrop. [online]. 2014, vol.21, n.2, pp.349-354. ISSN 0327-9383.

We studied 55 specimens of bats corresponding to 5 species (Desmodus rotundus, Eumops bonariensis, Molossus rufus, Myotis nigricans, and Dasypterus ega) from the families Phyllostomidae, Molossidae, and Vespertilionidae with the goal of expanding the information on the distribution, morphology, and natural history of bat fauna in the province of Corrientes, Argentina. We add 2 new localities, estancia El Tránsito (Reserva Iberá) and San Cayetano, in the distribution of the mentioned species.
