Abstract
ESPINOSA, Martín S.; CAVALLO, María J. and DIEZ, Patricia A.. Habrobracon hebetor (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), new association with beetle pests of walnut and expansion of its distribution in La Rioja, Argentina. Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2024, vol.83, n.1, pp.54-54. Epub Feb 25, 2024. ISSN 0373-5680.
New associations are reported between the parasitoid Habrobracon hebetor (Say) and two genera of postharvest pest coleopters on shelled fruits of Juglans regia L, Carpophilus Stephens (Nitidulidae) and Oryzaephilus Ganglbauer (Silvanidae) in the province of La Rioja. Furthermore, this parasitoid was recorded from larvae of Plodia interpunctella (Hübner) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae). The distribution of H. hebetor is expanded to the province of La Rioja. Data on percentages of parasitoidism are provided.
