Abstract

AGUERO, Ana Clarisa  and  LOPEZ, María Victoria. De la Sociedad Literaria Deán Funes a la Asociación Córdoba Libre: Dos estaciones del liberalismo y las elites de Córdoba (1878-1919). Bol. Inst. Hist. Argent. Am. Dr. Emilio Ravignani [online]. 2017, n.47, pp.135-165. ISSN 0524-9767.

This article explores two stages of the elites and the liberalism in Córdoba, through two self-defined "cultural" associations that were singularly linked to political and intelectual life, both locally and nationally. The Sociedad Literaria Deán Funes (1878/1883) and the Asociación Córdoba Libre (1916/ca 1922) are the looking-point to think this two moments and to understand wider processes: the restructuring of local elites, the national equilibrium reorganization, the local prominence modification and the generic liberalism mutations.

Keywords : Liberalism; Elites; Cultural associations; Córdoba; End of the Century.
