This article offers a historiographical reflection on the history of war and post war of de Malvinas/Falkland Islands, as well as about the presence of the national cause of the recovery of the islands in the Argentina public space. It analyzes some of the public discussions on the subject since the end of the conflict, and proposes a research agenda.
