The COVID-19 pandemic generated deep challenges in educational institutions. To guarantee the pedagogical continuity of students, many universities decided to continue with the courses online. The General Economics and Sociology course is a second-year course of the Veterinary Sciences degree and is taught in the first semester of the university academic year. The objective of this work was to analyze the use of a survey at the beginning of the course in the year 2020, as a tool to rethink and replan the course in the face of the health emergency scenario.
