Abstract

ETCHEMENDY, Sebastián; GIANIBELLI, Guillermo  and  OTTAVIANO, Juan Manuel. Labor Subcontracting in Argentina: Antecedents, Regional Context and Integral Regulation Proposal. Trab. soc. [online]. 2019, n.33, pp.211-220. ISSN 1514-6871.

There is today in Argentina an important body of studies on the impact of labor subcontracting in different sectors of the economy and on workers. However, the studies carried out from the sociology of work, and the analyses and regulatory proposals made from the institutional and legal

spheres, have run in sepárate lanes. The main goal of this study is to complement both approaches. Taking as input recent analyses from labor sociology, which illuminate the heterogeneity of the phenomenon of subcontracting as a key point, the article makes a regulatory proposal that accounts for this multiplicity of situations in the labor market, and aims to counteract the levels of precarization that labor outsourcing entails today for large masses of workers.

Keywords : Labor Subcontracting; Sociology of Work; Labor Regulation.
