This work makes a reconstruction and analysis of discursivities and disputes for hegemony in major agrarian corporations, during the immediately previous stage to the emergence of neoliberal hegemony in Argentina. Starting from a sociopolitical discourse analysis of the main national agrarian organizations and institutional key referents, from a poststructuralist and post-Marxist approach, it examines the positions, disputes about economic and social model and the dimension of hegemonic impact, during 1988. It concludes that the implementation of Primavera´s plan and the official interpellations had an effect of redefining positions that radicalized the criticisms of the main agrarian corporations and generated a defensive articulation against the economic program of Alfonsín´s government. This convergence extended from verbal level to the social and institutional practices of the main agrarian entities, contributing to explain the failure of alfonsinism and the advancement of neoliberal politics
