In recent years, considerable criticism of one of the approaches that marked the last two decades of research has emerged in the field of agrarian studies: that of "network companies". These criticisms contribute to understanding how the "reticular" aspects of the agricultural production model of the Pampas have been exaggerated and, as a counterpart, other types of transformations have been underestimated that significantly reconfigured agricultural productive relations. In this sense, we argue that in order to visualize these last aspects, an approach must be adopted centered on asymmetric relations between sectors based on the dynamics of capitalist accumulation. From this perspective, we analyze the main transformative tendencies of the social relations of production in the Pampean agriculture during the period 1990-2020.
