Within the framework of a conventional commercial structure that harms horticultural family farm with little decision-making power and little power to obtain value, the Alternative Marketing Circuits (CAC, sigla en castellano) emerged as a counterproposal. The hypothesis of this work is that CAC improve the income conditions of them. Therefore, the objective of the article is to identify and analyze the forms of valuation and the structure of value distribution in the alternative marketing of family farm. For this, the methodology was based on the case study of bags of vegetables in La Plata. Among the main results of the work, the heterogeneity of valuation criteria in the alternative processes and the tensions to deviate from conventional marketing are realized, but at the same time these show a greater value margin appropriated by the producers.
