Abstract

D´ANDREA, Ana María; SOBOL, Blanca Noelia  and  ALMIRON, María del Carmen. The program "Secondary education and job training for youths" in the province of Corrientes from the perspective of institutional actors. Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2016, vol.26, n.2. ISSN 1515-9485.

The main goal of this article is to identify, in the opinion of the participants of the program "Secondary education and job training for youths", the critical issues during the implementation stage that operate as obstacles and facilitators. The work is the result of in-depth interviews done in August 2012 with the regional program managers, and the actors from a selected sample of the centers in the province de Corrientes. The overall assessment of the participants is positive; primarily, because the program overlaps a general education with vocational training. The program also strengthens institutions through teacher training and provision of equipment. But one hiatus is observed between the diagnosis of the needs of the productive sector and the demands of young people.
