Abstract

BOCCARDI, Facundo. La diversidad sexual en el discurso estatal de la Educación Sexual Integral en Argentina. Un análisis sociosemiótico de los materiales didácticos oficiales. Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2023, vol.33, n.2, pp.31-31. ISSN 1515-9485.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.37177/unicen/eb33-375.

This article investigates the production of sexual diversity in the discourse produced by the National Program of Comprehensive Sex Education from its creation to the present day. To do so, it analyzes the discursive production of didactic materials aimed at implementing the public policy of Comprehensive Sex Education, from a perspective that articulates gender and sexuality studies with sociosemiotics. The materials analyzed consist of the set of didactic notebooks intended for the three levels of the compulsory education system that make up the ESI Notebook Series produced from 2009 to 2012, and the ESI School Reference Notebooks produced in 2022. In the first set of materials, the hetero-cis-sexual normativity mostly functions at the budget level, limiting the legibility of identities, erotic-sexual relationships, and family configurations. In the second set of materials, on the other hand, didactic devices are promoted to dismantle the hetero-cis-sexual normativity attributed to the common sense installed in schools. In this way, sexual diversity does not appear only as a set of topics, but rather as a critical perspective that permeates the approach to Comprehensive Sex Education.

Keywords : comprehensive sex education; sexual diversity; sociosemiotics; didactic materials; hetero-cis-sexuality.
