Abstract

MEDICI, Mora. Transformaciones en las relaciones de enseñanza y aprendizaje en el camino a la integralidad de la educación sexual. Una mirada desde la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2023, vol.33, n.2, pp.47-47. ISSN 1515-9485.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.37177/unicen/eb33-377.

This article explores the different conceptualizations presented by the management team, teachers, former teachers, pedagogical advisors, preceptors, graduates and students of a secondary school in the City of Buenos Aires about the integrality of sexual education and the way in which these conceptions are visible in their practices. While teacher training is one of the factors that determine the view of teachers about integrality, the paper describes the training strategies adopted by school teachers and their effects. Finally, some of the aspects that are modified from the development of comprehensive sexual education at school in terms of teaching practices and the teacher-student relationship are pointed out.

The results show a diversity of meanings given by the actors to the integrality of sexual education, ranging from the need to contemplate the multiple aspects of human sexuality to the inclusion of the interests of the students in teaching practices and revision of the school dynamics. Teaching training is revealed as a central tool to be able to approach sexual education from a comprehensive approach, and it is given, mainly, among colleagues and through collaborative work.
