Abstract

Through a qualitative research, descriptive interpretive design and phenomenological approach, the perception of sixteen students with visual disabilities on access to digital teaching material and integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by teachers was analyzed. Teachers, during virtual teaching due to confinement by Covid-19, the study population belongs to public and private inclusive educational institutions in the Peruvian department of Puno, of which six (6) have severe visual impairment and ten (10) have moderate disabilities, the semi-structured individual interview was applied during the last academic bimester of the year 2021 and the first academic bimester of the year 2022.

The results show limitations in the use of virtual didactic resources and ICT, in the teaching-learning processes, limiting the learning of visually impaired students, urging educational policies that address the educational immersion of inclusive technological resources.
