Abstract
LECH, Roberto Ricardo. Review of Oehlertella Annae (Feruglio), Discinoid from The Neopaleozoic of Argentina. Ser. correl. geol. [online]. 2014, vol.30, n.2, pp.135-146. ISSN 1666-9479.
Here presents an emended diagnosis of the inarticulate brachiopod Oehlertella annae (Feruglio), proposal developed with the original description and new fossil specimens that have the distinction of having the dorsal and ventral valves together. Also here presents the lectotype and paralectotypes that redefine to it, as well as analyzing its geological age, including its new biochron the Moscovian-Cisuralian age (Upper Carboniferous - Lower Permian). The new fossils that expanded the original description were found in marine sedimentary rocks of Moscovian-Kasinovian age (Upper Carboniferous) of the province of Mendoza, while those already described are found in marine rocks of Cisuralian age (Lower Permian) of Chubut, Argentina.
