For Santos (2001), there are three kinds of worlds “in the same world”. In fact, each world is lived in according to the “world position” occupied for the individual. In each world there is a different manner to see the globalization. Depending on the world, the globalization can be seen as “fabulous”, “perverse” or “humanity”. In this article, we discuss the point of view from this three kinds of worlds, in additional to the question of media democratization, using by object of reflection the 2014 World Cup, in Brazil.
