Abstract

GAVIRATI, Pablo Marcelo. La comunicación ambiental, territorio transdisciplinario emergente: Estudio de caso en la Carrera de Ciencias de la Comunicación, Universidad de Buenos Aires (1985-2015). Trama comun. [online]. 2016, vol.20, n.1, pp.109-127. ISSN 1668-5628.

Environmental communication can be considered as an emerging transdisciplinary territory with different lines of research. Here we make an introductory study to the themes and approaches that we can find in the academic field in Argentina. To do this, we focus the research on the case study of the Bachelor of Communication Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). At this point, we analyze an ad-hoc corpus of theses produced in different aspects of the career: journalism, advertising, political, communitary and educational communication. Throughout the analysis, we found a shared aspect: the change expressed in thesis written during the nineties (environmental issues first appeared as a specialization in communication) with those carried out since the turn of the century (emergence of a environmental perspective on communication).

Keywords : Environmental Communication; Interdisciplinary; Discoursive Analysis; Ecology; Environment.
